Women: Third NCAA regional rankings released

Compiled by D3hockey.com Staff --

The NCAA released its third set of women's regional rankings on Tuesday and for the third week in a row it's Norwich atop the East Region and Gustavus Adolphus at the head of the West. A bit farther down, it's the same eight in the same order in the East, while Adrian re-enters at No. 6 in the West Region after falling out of the rankings a week ago.

Used to determine both NCAA tournament bids and seedings, this week's rankings are the third of four sets that will be released to the public.  The final rankings, which will be generated on March 4, will be released on March 5.   The numbers used by the regional committees to generate these rankings are sometimes made available to the public.
