= Junior team captain Mathew Thompson won 10 of 13 draws in the face-off circle.

THE OPPOSITION
= Jake Howie scored the Sabres' lone goal with Adrian on the power play.

= Goaltender Mike Baldwin (L, 13-7-2) stopped 34 of 36 shots he faced, keeping Marian in the contest.

Brodie Jamieson led all face-off men with 14 wins on 23 attempts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
= McCloy deposited his 10th goal of the season with just 50 seconds left in the second period to snap a 1-all tie. He is credited with his fourth game-winning goal, which is tied for seventh on the Adrian single-season chart.

= Adrian attacked the Marian goal by outshooting the visitors 36 to 16.

= Boyd put the Bulldogs on the scoreboard with 38 seconds remaining in the first period, stuffing home a rebound over the goal line for his team-leading 16th goal of the season.

= Howie scored a shorthanded tally to tie it 1-1 with 4 minutes and 16 seconds gone in the second stanza.

= The teams were scoreless in the third period. Marian pulled Baldwin for the final 2:30 in favor of an extra skater, but couldn't get the equalizer due to a stingy AC defense that did not allow a shot on goal during that time. Adrian also was whistled for a penalty so the Sabres had a 6-on-4 for the last 32 seconds before the final horn.

= Adrian is the two-time defending Harris Cup champion and is making its ninth appearance in the conference tournament finals.

= Entmaa has equaled his win total from last year's freshman campaign. He is 28-6-2 in his career.

= McCloy has six career game-winning goals which are third among active Bulldogs and in the top-10 all-time in team history.

= The Bulldogs are 25-2 all-time in the conference playoffs.

= Since its inaugural 2007-08 campaign, Adrian has appeared in the Harris Cup title game in 2008-09-10-11-12-13-15-16-17 (with seven championships).

= Boyd also scored 16 goals as a freshman and has extended his career high for points (32) this season.

= Brothers has 25 assists to tie his personal record, set during his 2015 freshman year.

= The Bulldogs have a season's best seven game winning streak--allowing two goals or less in the last six.
